There is absolutely no doubt that we as
believers all agree that our "spiritual
birthday" supersedes and transcends any
other anniversary date we might observe,
including our physical birthday, but we
don't celebrate the date that we have said
is the most
important of all of these dates!
Salvation Celebration is not intended to
replace one's physical birthday, but to give
the day that one accepted Christ as savior
its proper place in the life of the
believer. It is my fervent prayer, and the
goal of Salvation Celebration Ministries,
that it will become commonplace for every
believer in every corner of the world to
celebrate his or her "spiritual
birthday." The Lord has
placed a burning desire in my heart to
contribute to the move of His spirit as He
brings about a spiritual awakening in the
body of Christ and among nonbelievers as
well. So, let's celebrate our salvation, a
simple act that can impact our world for Him
every day!
In His service,
David E. Belton
