Salvation Celebration™ Ministries is committed to promoting and
encouraging the individual and
collective celebration by
believers of their personal relationship with Jesus Christ every
day, but
particularly through the celebration of their
spiritual birthdays™, and promoting unity in the body of
Christ through our recognition that all believers are
bound together by a precious gift - - our
salvation.
In 1998, the Lord placed in my heart a vision that started with a simple question: "What is the most important day in your life?" My immediate answer was the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. After this answer, the second question was: "If it's so important, why don't you celebrate it?" I did not have an answer to that question.
I began to ask other believers the same two questions, and the overwhelming response to the first question was the same as my own. The response to the second question was usually something like, "I don't know", accompanied by an embarrassed grin or giggle.
There is absolutely no doubt that we as believers all agree that our "spiritual birthday™" supersedes and transcends any other anniversary date we might observe, including our physical birthday, but we don't celebrate the date that we have said is the most important of all of these dates!
Salvation Celebration™ is not intended to replace one's physical birthday, but to give the day that one accepted Christ as savior its proper place in the life of the believer. It is my fervent prayer, and the goal of Salvation Celebration™ Ministries, that it will become commonplace for every believer in every corner of the world to celebrate his or her "spiritual birthday™." The Lord has placed a burning desire in my heart to contribute to the move of His spirit as He brings about a spiritual awakening in the body of Christ and among nonbelievers as well. So, let's celebrate our salvation, a simple act that can impact our world for Him every day!
Our vision is to teach the body of Christ the importance of incorporating within each believer's Christian life the celebration of his or her born again date, or "spiritual birthday", as a day of not only celebration, but of reflection, evaluation and assessment of their Christian walk. In addition, to encourage the use of the observance of this celebration as a witnessing tool to those who are not born again.
I John 5:7
That there is one God who eternally exists as the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
John 3:16-17
That God loved us so much that He gave the gift of His only Son to redeem us, and to give eternal life to everyone who believes in Him.
Acts 4:12
That salvation is found in no one else nor in any other name than the name of Jesus Christ.
John 8:12-30,
John 19:17-42,
Mark 16:1-19
That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was crucified, died for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and presently sits at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf.
John 14:15-18,
26; John 16:5-15; Acts 2
That after Christ ascended, God sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in each believer, allowing a life of power and victory through His presence.
Luke 15:32
That as Jesus illustrated with the Parable of the Lost Son, our salvation is cause for celebration, in that we were dead, but now live, and we were lost, but now are found.
If you would like to accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior please pray the following prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He was crucified, died for my sins, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to heaven. I believe that Jesus sits at your right hand, praying for me. I believe that salvation is found in no one else nor in any other name than the name of Jesus Christ. I want to give my life to you, and accept Jesus as my savior. Jesus, please come into my heart and make me a new person. I ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.
John 3:1-8, 16,17; Romans 3:23-24, 10:9-10; Mark 16:19; Acts 4:12;Ephesians 2:8-9; Revelation 3:20.
Everyone that I know has a birth certificate commemorating his or her physical birth into this world.
I asked myself why I didn’t have a “birth certificate” commemorating the day I was born again. After all, it was my “birth day” - - the day I was born again into a world of eternal life!
The Lord placed in my heart the birth certificate you see. When He first led me to create a birth certificate for believers, I did not know how God intended me to make the certificate available; was I to sell the birth certificates or give them away, only requesting that costs be covered? Then, as with every other part of this vision, the Lord very clearly put it in my spirit that the birth certificates were not to be sold. This is what he put into my spirit: “How can you sell something that represents what I have so freely given to the world?”
